DWIN Higher Education Summer Holiday Field Activity Brought to a Satisfactory End

2024-09-04

Over the 2024 summer holiday, teachers and students from Beijing Institute of Technology, University of South China, and Hunan Applied Technology University embarked on a 1-3 week field activity.

During their internship, students toured the company's exhibition hall, R&D center, and touch panel and TFT LCD production lines. They gained a comprehensive understanding of the entire smart screen manufacturing process, from design to production. Students also explored the diverse applications of DWIN's self-designed HMI ASIC in industries like industrial automation, medical devices, beauty and healthcare, smart home & appliances, and new energy. Under the guidance of industry mentors, students engaged in development and debugging of hands-on projects using the T5L ASIC chip and DGUS development platform. Immersed in DWIN's Hunan Science Park and its problem-based learning environment, students developed a strong grasp of DGUS development through multidimensional practical experiences. They improved their problem-solving skills through methodology and practice, cultivated an engineering mindset, and enhanced their interdisciplinary practical skills.

In recent years, DWIN has warmly welcomed undergraduates to participate in practical activities at the DWIN Hunan Science Park. We have hosted practical course to students from over ten universities, including Beijing Institute of Technology, Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, University of South China, and Hunan Agricultural University. The DWIN science park has evolved into an off-campus internship hub for these universities. fostering mutually beneficial collaborations between enterprises and schools through high-quality practical training programs.
